I waited 1.5 hours to be seen, with no explanation or appology.
The entire office is decorated like a home, not a medical facility. Lots of scented candles and knicknacks.
The Dr never introduced herself to me. There were a lot of long awkward silences.
She commented 2x on my "bad" acne and suggested herbal remedies.. bizarre??
Drawers in the exam room were labeled with hand-written stickers: "Syringes"
I explained in advance that I have a lot of anxiety about dentists, and was very nervous. She did not respond, comment, smile, anything. I should have left right then.
The cleaning was PAINFUL, and I repeatedly had to wave my arms to ask her to stop.
Afterwards, I was sent into the hallway to talk to the assistant (Her husband, I believe?) He informed me that I need crowns on my 4 front teeth, and what they would cost. I asked MANY questions, and he didnt have many answers. What does that involve? What will they look like? How bad are my teeth? Where are the xrays you took? What other options are there? How soon do I need to do this? Should I see a cosmedic specialist? Can I see samples of her work?
The Dentist never came back out of the exam room.
I left in tears.
