Really hit or miss with quality of care.
His office did an amazing imaging of my jaw joint - like video of my x-ray in motion from multiple angles. Yay! He discovered the I needed a total joint replacement. Yay! A plan! He wanted to do the surgery. Meh. He soured when I mentioned that I was going to do some more research before scheduling the procedure. It is a major surgery after all.
I got a second opinion and had the procedure done at Mayo - where this procedure is routine. They did a great job on this dangerous surgery. There was only a 1 in 3 chance that I would have improvement, and I got lucky. Aragon mentioned nothing about the 1 in 3 chance of no relief and the 1 in 3 chance of it getting worse. Mayo saw me for the 3 month follow-up & told me that I didn't need to go all the way back to Minnesota for the 6-month follow up. (Yay!)
I went to Aragon's office for the 6-month follow-up. His assistant did an image. Aragon may have looked at it. He refused to come into the room to see me. He had wanted to do the surgery. How unprofessional is that? He has sad feelings so he's going to slack on his job?
This is to say, this doctor's quality of care varies based on his emotions.
