Dr. Graves extracted my lower left molar (#18), and his assistant, Abdul, gave me very detailed information on the implant procedure I intend to undergo as soon as the extraction site has healed. With the exception of the receptionist who checked me in (unenthusiastic, somewhat perfunctory in her processing), the entire experience was excellent. Sarah, the dental assistant, took me and and prepared me for the procedure. She connected with me in a professional way as her patient, answered my questions as we went along, and was reassuring and helpful. Abdul, the gentleman who explained the implant procedure, was very thorough, answered all my questions, and provided me with a written estimate of the costs of the procedure, when I elect to do it. Dr. Graves is excellent. He put up the panoramic X-ray and showed me the tooth to be extracted, the underlying bone mass (critical to a successful implant), the postion of the underlying nerve (not to close to the proposed implant site) and discussed the problems with the failed tooth he would be extracting. He gave me my choice of anesthetics, administered the shots well, and did a wonderful job with the extraction. Great follow-up care and explanations. Very good and professional
