I had braces on about 5 years ago, he took them off very early. I still had a slight crooked tooth and my jaw was very off giving me TMJ. We went back for over a year trying to fix the problem and all he did was try and give me different retainers which didn't work. over 5 years later I go back because my mouth is extremely uncomfortable and he told me he would have never taken my braces off with my teeth like that. (funny, my retainer still fits) But assured he would take care of the problem. I went in to get braces back on. And suprise! He charged me 500 dollars to get them back on!
