Dr Chan has been my daughter's orthodontist for 9 years. Through Phase I she had a palate expander and braces- then a couple of years off -then Phase II with braces only. Happily no extractions were necessary. I had a difficult time turning the expander and Dr. Chan had no problem with me coming into the office every week to turn the expander for me. Dr. Chan is always patient, kind, helpful and informative. The old office was very nice but the new office is beautiful with convenient parking. It is also very convenient to be able to have all the x-rays done there on the premises. I have recommended Dr. Chan to several of my friends. My daughter has the most beautiful smile now. Thank you Dr. Chan. Now on to the wisdom teeth!
About Front Desk: Front Desk Staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have forgotten and rescheduled many appointments over the years and have never had a problem.

Dr. Chan is the best Orthodontist ever! He is super good with everyone, he tells you whats happening when he is fixing your teeth, and he is so nice and friendly! I really think he is the best person to go to in the area! I have had braces and have them off now, and my teeth are beyond beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend this orthodontist to others, because he is so great! And the office staff are super nice too! They are nice and they help you with everything!!!!!! He is the best!!!!

I did my braces as an adult, and Dr. Chan's office is very friendly to adults. There are lots of kids there, but the atmosphere is also very comfortable for an adult. I like Dr. Chan's easy-going style, and I trust his knowledge and wisdom as an orthodontist.

My son needed to finish Phase II of his orthodontic work and the technician ruined his first x-ray films and had to repeat them. I saw Dr. Chan throw his latex gloves down in anger at her mistake and I voiced my concerns to the front office.
Dr. Chan was extremely hostile and defensive and would not dicuss the matter rationally. The front office is obnoxious and discourteous. There is an issue when a receptionist broadcasts private information in the waiting room, rather than having the courtesy to call the patient to the desk to ensure privacy. I found a very nice orthodonist in Arcadia to finish my son's orthodontic work who was professional and kind. I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Chan has the nicest office and the most friendly and efficient people working for him. I don't know how he does it but everyone seems so happy. Our dentist gave us 3 names of orthodontist to check out and we saw all three. With Dr. Chan our first visit was free and even included a free panoramic x-ray. Dr. Chan said our son wasn't quite ready for treatment so recalled us in 6 months while more teeth came in. When the time was finally right we took some plaster teeth models and something called an orthodontic survey which our friends had to go to a dirty lab on Rosemead but Dr. Chan's office has the digital x-rays and photos all in his office :). Dr. Chan explained the treatment and our options and his lady at the front desk was really helpful in scheduling appointments and handling the insurance. Payment plan was very easy and I even got miles on my CC! Dr. Chan is not the least expensive but his office is the best--clean, friendly, honest and quick. Parking is easy
