My family and I have been going to Dr. Samani for a while. She is very caring and knowledgeable. Her office is close to my house. She was referred to me by a co worker . Office is very neat and nicely decorated . It gives you the feeling of being in a nice professional place. . I have recently lost my front tooth implant that was done years ago. She replaced the implant with a longer and stronger one and it matches perfectly my other tooth. I could not be happier to get such a great result for my front tooth.

About Front Desk: The front desk people are always smiling and very helpful. They went through a lot to find my coverage for my front tooth implant that was denied by my dental insurance

About Hygienist: I have had two hygienist and they have been very kind and gentle.

I have been going to Dr. Samani for a very long time. She has been taking care of me and my family. She is very courteous and knowledgeable and she has always made sure I understand the reason for each treatment I needed. She is very soft spoken and cares a lot. One time that I had a tooth pulled she called me at home and made sure I was doing well with my medications. I also remember she came to office one Sunday afternoon when office was closed to see my daughter who fell off the bike and hurt her teeth and lips on emergency.

I wish my DMO plan covered white fillings. As she only does white fillings I would not bring a child with baby teeth to her I went to Dr. Samani after not seeing a dentist in about 20 years. I had root canals, fillings, caps, and cleanings at her office and have not had any issues so far. She does the cleaning herself (at least at the place on Pecan Park, I'm not sure if she uses a hygienist at the Wells Branch Pkwy place). At the chain where my daughter goes (now Castle after being put off at Omni) we don't even get to speak to a dentist for just a cleaning. One note, when I called to schedule a cleaning in early October I was only able to get the appointment 10 weeks later.

They told me they did pediatrics. We took our 6 yr old daughter there for an exam. Ellie immediately told her she had a "gummy smile" and that if she wanted to be "pretty" she needed to get it fixed. Ellie did not appear to know how to talk to children. She was very abrupt and stern. Unfortunately, due to our insurance, we had to return 2 weeks later to have a baby tooth extracted. My daughter was scared and crying. Ellie yelled at her "stop this crying now and look at me! If you don't stop now I'm going to make your mommy leave!". Ellie looked at me and rolled her eyes saying "this is ridiculous, if she is going to make such a big deal over this, you need to take her to a periatric dentist." OMG, I hope Ellie doesn't come see me as one of my patients. Also I was quoted $80 dollars and she charged me 150. The tooth practically fell out on its own.

I am not impressed with Dr Samani. I chose her because she listed pedodontics in her profile and I was looking for a dentist to treat my entire family. My 7-year old daughter had a cavity in a baby tooth but after examining her, Dr Samani said she only performed limited services on children and would not be able to treat her. I then had to find another dentist, outside my insurance plan, to examine my daughter. By this time the tooth was loose so we ignored the expensive treatment recommendation from Dr Bookmyer and the tooth fell out shortly thereafter. Dr Samani repaired my cracked tooth and at the same time I had her replace a metal filling on another tooth. Although she gave me quite a few numbing shots, removal of the metal filling was quite painful and the Dr had to give me more shots then come back later to finish the job. It has taken 1-1/2 years for both teeth to recover from being sensitive to hot & cold. The Dr's office is rather run-down and doesn't appear to be too up-to-date. I'm changing my dental insurance and looking for a new dentist.

About Hygienist: The hygienist's at Dr Samani's office are nice, gentle and I felt the did a thorough job.

I had a terrible experience getting several fillings and a tooth replaced. As I was lying on her chair, numbed up with my mouth gaping open , Dr Samani turned to me and said 'You wanted tooth colored fillings right?'. I answered yes, assuming that she would not be trying to deviate from the quote she had given only a couple of days earlier when I came in for a cleaning and assessment. I found out of course when I went to pay that I was being charged several hundred more than my quote because tooth colored fillings are not covered. The tooth that needed to be replaced was ground down and a metal cap put on it, and I made another appointment to get the new tooth put on. As the numbing medication wore off, I was startled to discover a big chunk of my molar was missing, and wedged in between my cheek and gumline. I immediately drove from work and showed Dr Samani this piece of my tooth. She immediately snatched it away from me and told me it happened while putting a filling in my back tooth. Everything was 'normal' and 'fine'. When I came in to get my tooth replaced, she did not numb me before removing the metal cap from my stub of a tooth before grinding at it with her pic to get the glue residue off, completely ignoring my pain

Very nice Doctor and staff. Called and got an appointment right away, as I had to wait a long time to get in other offices. She did two beautiful crowns on my front teeth. Price is average in town.

very nice people. Old and somewhat scary facility and unproffesional employees at the desk. Dr. Samani is very good though.

The worst part of this dental experience is the quality of the facilities. They are old, somewhat messy, and uncomfortable. Additionally, they made a mistake with a dental claim and were not as fast to resolve it as I would hav eliked. The dentist herself did the cleaning, which struck me as odd and indicated that perhaps she didn't have enough work to do. I would not recommend choosing this dentist.

This dentist cleaned my teeth in less than five minutes! In addition, she added charges which I think she did not even perform. When I paid, I discovered that she added the cost of two items to me, a flosser ($6) and a bottle of mouthwash ($26). I was told that the mouthwash (BreathRX) was by prescription only and later I found out that that was not true.
