I've been looking for a dentist in the area that takes my HMO, it was very hard to find one, much less one that actually made me want to go there. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews I read, but thankfully it seems much has changed over the years.
I was scheduled by a very kind lady who helped me sort out some insurance questions and made me feel at ease.
When I got there the following week for my consultation I was happy to find out it was free. The sweet girl at the front helped me apply for Care Credit (because my HMO wouldn't cover what I needed done) and didn't make me feel bad for not being able to afford it right then.
All in all I had a great experience in the office and am half way through my treatment- cannot wait for my new smile to be done :)

I went to Dr. Gelmans office to find out about lumineers. The consultation is free, the staff is great and the doctor did an amazing job. i loved the office, is clean and so modern. the prices were very competitive and they offer a discount plan for people like me that does not have insurance.

The staff is pretty nice. At sometimes I have noticed a little bit of a language barrier since most of the staff speaks spanish except for Dr. Gelmen. The ladies at the front desk could very easily be mistaken for rude.

Dr. Gelman did a crown on a front tooth. I returned 3 times to get it adjusted due to increasing headaches and poor bite alignment. I went to another dentist who had to totally replace the crown. When my new dentist removed the crown, my upper gum was swollen and bleeding. I rated Dr. Gelman as expensive because of the need to replace the crown and I will need to have other poorly fitting crowns replaced! The new dentist is more expensive but worth every penny because I am not in pain.

Dr. Gelman replaced front fillings with wrong shade and I had to find a new dentist to replace them in 6 months. He is rude, mean and very, very painful! His staff has no clue what is going on. His nurse left giant cotton balls in my mouth and then dismissed me. Dr. Gelman and his staff talk openly about their patients which is unprofessional. I was scheduled for a cavity filling and when Dr. Gelman came in he asked why I was there. He was clueless. I waited for hours!!! Why I waited to find another dentist is beyond me. Warning: Beware of this dentist.

Dr. Gelman is actually a very good dentist and a nice guy but his staff has absolutely no manners. There is an ill-mannered Latino lady running things and she is absolutely the worst. He needs to purge the office of the negativity and hire somebody that can actually communicate properly with his patients. I mean come on this is Jupiter not Dade County. I'm sure he has his reasons for keeping her but he definitely lost this patient because of her.

HORRIBLE Staff, very rude, and the receptionist has conversations about clients and their level of intelligence! I have been there for 2 years and only saw the dentist once, I have told that it's the patients responsibility to remind the staff if they need to see the dentist. The wait is always 30+ minutes, ALWAYS! Don't waste your time or money.
About Hygienist: Horrible, watches tv more than she cleans, have to book 4 months in advance. I've been to several dentists, and this is by far the most painful hygienist I have ever seen.
