Read Reviews for Dr. Joseph Baptiste
Dr Baptiste's office is a high volume practice and they were able to give me the service I needed in a timely manner and in a very professional way.
Dr. Baptiste and the other dentists and hygienist there are all very knowledgeable and very experienced.
The practice is all Digital and has a CT-Scan and they also do same day Cerec Crowns.
About Hygienist: Great talker and with 30years experience she has seen everything. Very informative with the Casey education system.

Front desk staff is very friendly. That's the only good thing I have to say about this facility. The worst dentist office I've been to. The first time I went had a couple of fillings done. I was very disappointed at the place, the chair where I sat was dirty and so was the lamp. It made me wonder if the equipment being used was even sterilized. What made it worse was that the doctor answered her cell phone in the middle of my procedure!!!! Didnt even go back to change her gloves, but continued to work on my teeth. About a month later, I had to go back because one of my fillings started to hurt. I found out I needed a root canal. I requested a different dentist, who was very kind and nice, but messed up my tooth even more. After a week of having the root canal done, my tooth started to hurt, again. I went back the dentist filed my tooth because apparently it was too big. A couple of weeks went by and my tooth is hurting again. I'm not going back there again...NEVER! I'm in search of a good dentist in my area and that's why I signed up on this website. I wish I would have done this earlier. I do not recommend JB Dental.

I have never been to such a filthy facility before in my life. The bathrooms: You cannot flush the toilet paper, and the waste bin has no cover leaving patrons' fecal matter into the open air. There are no seat protectors, and the toilet seat was covered in urine. The reception area was strewn with garbage. After my 30 minute wait, and having to ask when I would see the dentist, I finally went into the treatment room, only to wait again for x-rays. While I was waiting I was horrified to see ANTS crawling on the countertops and walls. When my x-rays were complete, I asked again when Id actually see the dentist and they said it would be another 15 minutes. By then I had it since I was tired of looking at the dentist's employees on MYSPACE AND FACEBOOK. I then had to wait ANOTHER 15 MINUTES to meet with the office manager. I listed my complaints, including the facts that I had to wait six weeks to book an appointment, and no one informing me of the delay (a simple phone call would suffice). The managers response was, "I cleaned the urine off the seat, and sometimes patient backlog comes up." I simply walked out of there disgusted vowing to warn any future patients of Dr. Baptiste.

The hygenist I had didn't say two words, even to the point that she pushed my mouth open instead of just saying "open". She couldn't figure out how to adjust the chair and I kept going up and down. She needed help with the x-ray, and the biteplate was too big for my mouth. The dentist finally came in without introducing herself (an associate of Dr. Baptiste's, her name was Dr. Stanley I found out). She looked at the xrays, said 'no cavities' and did the cleaning herself. Then she manually examined for cavities, and said "You have to clean better, you have cavities." She was ready to walk away until I asked how many and she said 6. I told her I was surprised since I've never had ANY before, and she said they were discolorations and soft spots in my enamel (even though those don't sound like cavities to me), and I should get them filled, and just walked away. The receptionist then told me that only 2 of my fillings were covered by insurance and I'd have to pay for the others. When I asked why she didn't have an answer for me and just said "They'll be $170 each to fill." WHAT?!? I have never heard of such a high price for out of pocket fillings from anyone who has gone to the dentist before. I will not be going back.

First time visit for a broken tooth. Got a quick appointment and a quick temporary fix until further treatment.

We have used Dr. Baptiste for over 3 years. He has gone through many changes, and his overall quality has declined substantially. We are looking for a new dentist, as we are tired of having to go back to his office to have dental work redone that is less than a few weeks old. If you are looking for a new dentist...keep looking...this is not the one!

Terrible, TERRIBLE "chairside manner"--abrupt, noncommunicative, ignores you even when you indicate strongly that you're in pain. Very poor pain management techniques. I walked out before Dr. Baptiste could start the extraction because his painful exam and dismissive manner totally eroded my confidence in his competence. I promptly changed my selection of a primary general dentist and would not advise anyone to go to Dr. Baptiste. I suppose it should have been a clue when I had been going to his clinic for a year for cleanings and the doctor had never made an effort to meet me.

I have enjoyed my visits to Dr. Baptiste and his staff. Everyone is friendly and very helpful and I have had several fillings done there - all of which were sucessful. The dentists take time to answer your questions and are very concerned about their patients.

He gave me no informed consent before my root canal treatment. I had huge stress during my treatment because his pain control was very poor. One of the biggest problems was his attitude. He doesn't listen to me at all. I don't recommend this dentist to anyone. He is the worst dentist I've ever had.
