Dr. Caiafa employs a very rude receptionist! His policy is to ignore what you ask for and impose on you what he likes to do, like unnecessary cleaning, ...etc. so they can collect some more money to cover their business expenses! When I made an appointment over the phone with the rude front desk person, and explained to her I need a post and crown procedure. After waiting for two hours in the office watching patients come and go I finally decided to ask when would be my turn! The answer was "you are next for cleaning!", but hey, "I never asked for cleaning, I need a post and a crown!", they answered "your insurance doesn't cover post and crown!! Wow, so they decide to make some money out of my insurance anyway by doing a routine cleaning I never asked for! I refused and left the office immediately! If this is how they treat a patient then you can expect what may come next!

I had just moved to town about 2 years ago and I was in tremendous discomfort. I am in the medical field also and I was impressed with the office immediately. The staff recognized the fact that it was an emergency and got me in to see Dr. Caiafa immediately. The doctor was very patient and explained my dental problem to me in plain English. He said I was in need of a specialist, and I was told I didn't have to leave the office to see his Oral Surgeon. With in one hour I was pain free and ready to resume my busy schedule. Having all dental specialties in one office is really convenient! My dental insurance was accepted in full and there were no financial hassles as I have encountered in the past with other less well run facilities. I remember a patient who was waiting to be seen ahead of me was a bit upset I was seen ahead of him, however, the staff was very courteous and professional and explained to her the severity of my discomfort. I remember the office even compensating her for car service so she could get to work on time. That really impressed me. They go above and beyond at this office and it should be recognized. I have since become a regular patient and look forward to my 6 month check-ups w/ Dr. Seid and Dr. Caiafa.

For starters the front desk is really helpful. The hygienist I had was VERY friendly and easy to talk to.While I met with most of the dentists (who are all great), the one I spoke with the most was soooooooooooo nice and PATIENT! He didn't mind at all the questions I had and his kindness made is real easy for me to talk to him. The cost, although expensive, is still reasonable considering you get what you pay for.
