Although Dr. Mark is a good dentist, I believe his hygienists convince you of procedures you do not need, and they do so without checking if this is covered by your insurance. The front desk staff is very rude.

dr. mark is not a good dentist. its very obvious that his treatment plan is whats good for his business and not for the patient. the office is dirty and old - I can't imagine the instruments are any better
About Front Desk: unorgainzed - messed up my appointment several times - was hardly there when I would have my appointment
About Hygienist: hygienist was very good - although the office environment is so bad I would prefer to go another near by practice

While the actual dental work was OK--nothing amazing, nothing terrible--the nightmare billing process after has been awful. Completely inept. There are plenty of mediocre dentists in the city--don't bother with this one.

I recently moved and need to find a new dentist, but I always had pleasant experiences with Dr. Mark's office.
In addition to them doing my Invisalign procedure, I also had a root canal there and several (unfortunately) cavities filled.
Dr. Mark has great chair side manners, is always on top of my history, has good facilities with xrays, and a small enough practice that he's the dentist you see most of the time.
I would definitely recommend him. I cannot comment on the price since my insurance covered everything, however, I can say that I have never felt like they recommended unnecessary work
About Hygienist: The hygienists I wiorked with were pleasant and extremely thorough with cleanings. They definitely spent more time on cleanings than typical dentists

Dr. Mark is a wonderful Dentist! Not only is he great at his work, but he has the personality to match! I swear by him :)

They have some good orthodontists and hygeniests, however, Dr. Mark does poor job on my molar fillings. The filling came out three times and finally he said I didn't have to come back if it happened again. How am I supposed to eat without the filling?
They take too many appointments and the doctor treat patients like numbers. 1, 2, 3, next!
The staffs are not cooperative in talking about payment and insurance.
I got feeling that they are money hungry.
Their price is about 150% of the average.
One time I had a procedure done, because they told me it would be coverd by my insurance. Actually it wasn't. I had to pay the whole amount out of pocket.
They don't care as long as THEY get paid.
I checked this site, because I'm not happy with Dr. Mark.

I had dental care from Dr. Mark, which was excellent, and the hygienist always did terrific cleanings. Very thorough, friendly, and gentle. The offices and services seem to be state-of-the-art.
I also received orthodontia from a colleague of Dr. Mark who is no long with his practice. That experience was unsatisfactory and unpleasant, so I no longer go to Dr. Mark, because he didn't apologize on her behalf when I complained. A simple "I'm sorry you had a bad experience" would have satisfied me.
But I would encourage my own kids, or anyone else, to receive care from Dr. Mark or his staff, particularly as I know the orthodontist no longer practices there.

Dr. Mark does pretty good job and has good specialists to do root canal and other things. but they are not really helpful for financial things related to insurance.

Some of the dentists in his clinic are excellent (eg. Dr. Reddy, endodontist), but Dr. Mark is rather sloppy. He is pleasant & well-mannered, but the simple filling he did came off TWICE with just a little flossing. I've also been having pain under the crown that was put in after a root canal,and have already consulted him THREE times on this (I am suspecting that the root canal failed), but he has not taken my complaints seriously and just adjusted the crown by scraping it! Every time, he tells me to wait a few days and come back to him if I still have a problem, and I always have to return. I have now given up on him and am looking for a new dentist. Dr Mark is also clumsy and he splashes your face with dirty water every time he does a little drilling.
