Dr. Urick is great! His facilities are super modern and clean and everyone on his staff is friendly and professional. The hygienists, office staff, and techs all know your name and treat you with great care. He has taken care of my initial exam, some cavity work, and a deep clean for a tooth that was giving me trouble. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Urick is great -- very cheerful, nice, and professional. He is always a pleasure to be around, which is hard to come by in a dentist. He does fabulous work, and is very thorough.
His staff is less than fanatstic. In all fairness, I really like his assistants, and hygenist -- all of the people who work in the back are wonderful! But he SERIOUSLY needs to "upgrade" his front office staff.
I've had billing questions a number of times and talking to Susan is akin to banging your head against a wall. There are a ton of excuses, and no answers. I suppose this is good for Dr. Urick's collection of payment; however, it has been SO terribly frustrating, demoralizing, and anxiety-making that I will never return to this dental office. If you can afford to pay in full, or know the ins-and-outs of your insurance plan, perhaps it's worth it to drive into the city, pay for parking, wait around for up to an hour past your original appointment time, and then receive a bill for twice as much as your "estimated amount" out of the blue, months after the original work.

Dr. Urick is superb. He is the first dentist I've seen who I am not related to -- my father and two uncles are all dentists. I was nervous about seeing him at first, but as soon as I sat in his chair, I was put at ease. Both he and his staff are incredibly friendly. And thorough! Perhaps it is sad to say, but this was the best dentist I've seen -- he was incredibly thorough, testing gum density and checking each tooth. He even noticed something suspicious on my tongue, and sent me to an oral ssurgeon to have it biopsied. Although it turned out to be nothing... still better to be safe than sorry. I am 100% confident that Dr. Urick will pay close attention to my oral health. I know I am in excellent care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Urick's for 5 years and have been very happy with him. I saw 3 different dentists before picking Dr. Urick and I refer everyone at my work to him. He is knowledgeable (I think he went to UCLA dental school), does very good work (I've had several cavities and deep cleanings done, my wife had a root canal done), genuinely cares about his patient's dental health and is a good guy. His office is centrally located in downtown SF, is very clean and modern and the equipment (x-rays, patient records, etc) is all digital. The office also offers DVD goggles for long procedures. His staff of hygienists is also very friendly and thorough.

Great, awesome destist! Really nice guy, amazing work. I got some teeth fixed and I couldn't actually tell which tooth had been worked on after he was finished! Speedy, thorough, and great communication with me about how I was doing during the procedure. Highly recommended for the best possible experince (and believe you me, I've been to my share of dentists in the Bay Area)!

For the first time in my life I enjoyed going to the dentist. The staff is professional while friendly and welcoming. Dr. Urick is the best. I've sinced moved to Texas and sadly for the dentist here, it's hard to fill his shoes. Seriously, I recommend their services to all in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Urick's for 3 years. Dr. Urick cares about his patients, is knowledgeable and takes time to explain problems/treatments. His office is in a great location if you work downtown and it's only a couple of years old so has the latest equipment, like digital X-rays and computer screens (which are handy when he's explaining problems). I have referred him to many coworkers who have all been very happy with his service.
The only problem I've had with Dr. Urick's office was with the administrative staff (I think she was a new hire). Dr. Urick called me personally to apologize, which I appreciated. His services are also not cheap, though I don't know how they compare to other dentist in downtown SF.
